Chicken, ham and mushroom cake

Prepared in an hour

Process:

First in a cooking pan over a medium temperature put the 500ml of boiling chicken stock, 4 skinless and boneless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces, 2 onions around chopped, 1 garlic clove eventually sliced, 2 carrots peeled and diced, 200g green beans chopped and 200g mushrooms halved or quartered if big. Cook for 15-20 mins, stirring often, before onions have actually softened and chicken is cooked.

Include the 1 level tsp of chicken gravy granules and 2 tbsp tomato purée and stir really. Add the 2 x 200g cans of cooked lean ham diced and small a small number of finely chopped fresh tarragon, season with salt and newly ground black colored pepper and blend once again.

Preheat the oven to 180°C/Fan 160°C/Gas 4.

Transfer the chicken mixture to four individual cake meals. Brush the rims of the dishes with a few associated with beaten egg .

Roll out the 70g ready-rolled light puff pastry, slashed it into strips and arrange across pies in a lattice design. Brush the pastry using the remaining egg and bake for 15-20 minutes or through to the pastry is puffed up-and golden. Serve with salad .

Cooked spinach cannelloni

Preheat the range to 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas 6 and spray a 30 x 20cm ovenproof dish with low-calorie cooking squirt .

Initially make the filling. Put the 2 huge bags of spinach washed and cut in a saucepan with 2 tablespoons of water . Cover with a lid and cook very gently over a low temperature for five full minutes or before the leaves are limp. Strain in a colander, pressing down on the spinach to press completely any excess fluid.

Put the spinach into a meals processor with all the 750g low-fat natural cottage mozzarella cheese, ½ tsp dried red chilli, some fresh grated nutmeg and 2 egg yolks .

Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to flavor and blitz until smooth, then use the mixture to fill the 500g dried cannelloni pipes (using a piping case could be the easiest way to achieve this). Arrange the cannelloni pipes into the prepared ovenproof meal.

Make the tomato sauce by blending the 1kg passata, 1 tsp dried oregano, 1 tbsp sweetener and 2 crushed garlic cloves in a bowl. Period to taste and put across cannelloni. Cover with foil and bake for 20-25 mins, then get rid of the foil and bake for another 20 mins or until bubbling.

Scatter throughout the tiny a small number of torn fresh basil leaves and divide between plates. This will be fantastic served hot with salad .
