Stephen Quick
I was born in Neath Hospital in 1972. I lived in Edward Street, Port Talbot most of my life. (1972-2004). I went to the following Schools Central Nursery (Age 3), Central Infant School, Central Junior School, Glanafan Lower School (1983-1985), Glanafan Upper School (1985-1988). Then I went to Afan College 1988-1989 First Diploma in Engineering, 1989-1990, National Diploma in Plant Engineering, 1990-1994 National Certificate Engineering. As for work I served an electrical apprenticeship with ‘Corus’ formally ‘British Steel’, Port Talbot 1989-1993. I am now a Shift Manager in the ‘Central Engineering Workshops’ Corus Port Talbot 1993- Present. I am married with a fantastic little boy and still live in Port Talbot.
